Electrical Capacitance Tomography System
TJUECT: Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) system in three tiers — 8/12/24 electrodes, 1-3 planes, 15/50/100 fps imaging; flagship dual-plane 3D imaging.
The TJUECT series is the Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) product line from Tianjin Youyi Technology, designed and developed by the Tianjin University Electrical Imaging research group. It comes in three tiers — Standard, Professional, and Flagship (8/12/24 electrodes, 1-3 planes, 15/50/100 fps imaging) — covering teaching, research, and industrial sites. The flagship dual-plane configuration uses non-invasive ECT with 24 electrode plates for 2D/3D real-time imaging and quantitative analysis of multiphase flow in pipes. The FPGA/SoPC hardware platform supports wired and wireless Ethernet data transmission, enabling remote image reconstruction and display.

Overview
Dual-plane 24 electrodes · high-speed real-time imaging
TJUECT uses an FPGA/SoPC hardware architecture with Ethernet data transmission in both wired and wireless modes; remote acquisition and reconstruction are possible over a public IP. The flagship dual-plane layout captures not only the phase distribution of a single cross-section but also derives dynamic parameters such as velocity distribution through dual-plane correlation analysis. The system performs 2D/3D tomographic data acquisition, real-time reconstruction and online detection, outputting quantitative parameters including phase fraction, phase interface and phase velocity. The measurement is non-contact, supports real-time recording and playback, and exports .bin / .csv files for post-processing in Excel, MATLAB or Python.
